‍Started in 2012 to help raise money for the ‘Ridney Dim’ orphanage in Sambir, Ukraine. Anyone is welcome to join us to either work on their own projects and/or to make handmade crafts, the proceeds of which go towards the cost of transport to Ukraine

Ukrainian Refugee Support Group
Every Wednesday 2pm - 4pm
at the Ukrainian Centre in Rochdale

We offer the following for both displaced Ukrainians, families and sponsors: Free refreshments, free toys for children, nappies & toiletries and free advice on required documents from our partners at Rochdale Council who can help with services like access to GP's, job centres and ESOL/English classes

Campaign launched to get vital medical aid
to Ukrainian children’s hospital

Michael Buczman, who works in Rochdale Borough Council’s environmental management team and is connected to Ukraine
and Lviv through his own family history, has reached out to the
Hospital of St Nicholas the First Children’s Hospital in Lviv.

Michael has teamed up with Rochdale Borough Council’s staff charity, Giving Back, to launch a campaign for donations to get medical aid over to the children’s hospital.
