The Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) is the largest representative body for Ukrainians and those of Ukrainian descent in the UK. We exist to develop, promote and support the interests of the Ukrainian community in Great Britain & beyond!
On 18 February 2024, the UK government announced the launch of the Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) scheme. The UPE scheme will open to applications at 9:00 am UK time on 4 February 2025.

This newsletter edition commemorates the Holodomor with reflections on the moving memorial events held across our branches.
Our AUGB branches host regular events and activities for their communities and guests. Some AUGB branches host Ukrainian community schools and branches of organisations like the Association of Ukrainian Women and the Ukrainian Youth Association. Ukrainian Churches, are a key part of our community network, and both Catholic and Orthodox church parishes can be found across Great Britain.
Our network of partners spans across the world, and we work together with them to advance our missions and goals.
