A circular has been sent out to all AUGB Branches announcing that the date of the 65 AUGB AGM is to be the 29 May 2010.  The annual audit will now take place next week.  Paperwork formalities will follow.

The circular also confirmed that the AUGB’s General Council has ratified a decision for construction to begin on the new AUGB Manchester Branch hall.  All required approvals have now been ratified by Manchester City Council and work on the new-build is expected to commence in the latter part of May this year.

Other subjects included information on the European Parliament’s resolution on Bandera and the OUN, the participation of the “Zhuravli” Male Voice Choir from Poland in this year's festival of music and dance at Llangollen in Wales (5-11 July), exhibitions of the AUGB’s collection of Gregor Kruk sculptures in Kyiv and Lviv, contributions to the AUGB website and the traditional “Pysanka” collection to attract donations for the Ukrainian Students Relief Fund (50%) and (25% each) the Plast and Ukrainian Youth Association summer camps.
