BISHOP KENNETH ISSUES PASTORAL LETTER AHEAD OF ENTHRONEMENT AND OFFICIAL TAKING OF OFFICE

19.03.20

The newly appointed Eparch for Ukrainian Catholics in the UK, Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, has today issued a Pastoral Letter calling on the faithful to individually use their God-given wisdom in adapting to the difficult circumstances facing everyone during the global spread of the coronavirus.  Everybody should look out for and provide support to those who are isolated and undoubtedly frightened…

The three-page letter addresses the immediate impact that the pandemic will have on the Church, including the enthronement and official taking of office being brought forward to 21 March 2020, with a minimal number of personnel present. The event will, however, be streamed live on the Eparchial Facebook page: www.facebook.com/UGCC.GB

The full text of the Pastoral Letter is available in English and in Ukrainian.

Our prayers are with Bishop Kenneth and we wish him well as he embarks on addressing the challenges facing him in his new role.

На Многі Літа Владико!
