The Ukrainian Film Days in London closed last night with the UK premiere screening of “Chervonyi”, a film set in 1947 which follows the fate of a Commander of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), Danylo Chervonyi, incarcerated in a Soviet concentration camp in the Urals.

The Embassy of Ukraine to the UK deserves full credit for organising the two-day event, bringing contemporary Ukrainian film to a UK cinema screen.
