Individual membership

Full Membership is open to an individual who:

“an individual who: 

(a) is at least eighteen years of age;

b) has the right to reside in the United Kingdom for a period of over 6 months; 

c) wishes to promote the objects of the Association as set out in article 2; and

d) is a:

(i) Ukrainian national (and such term includes, without limitation, any person of Ukrainian ethnic origin regardless as to whether or not that person or that person’s ancestors were born within the borders of the state of Ukraine), or

(ii) child or remoter issue of a Ukrainian national, or 

(iii) spouse or civil partner of:

• a Ukrainian national; or 

• a child or remoter issue of Ukrainian national;

and the directors shall from time to time be entitled to issue guidance to clarify the meaning of any term set out above;”

Prospective members must fill out the application form (available from local branch officials), which must be countersigned by two existing members of the Association. All Full members join a branch of the Association, either where they live, or the nearest branch to them.

Branch officials will send the completed and signed application form to AUGB’s Head Office to register a new membership.
