AUGB's Chair, Zenko Lastowiecki, today visited Tarasivka to talk to members of the Ukrainian Youth Association who are attending the first of the Association's annual summer camps - the Leadership camp.

The participants, aged from 16-18, heard Zenko speak about the history and work of AUGB and about how they can get involved with their local community. AUGB intern, Myroslava Terlecky, talked about the work she and Yvanna Kurlak are doing to develop AUGB's communication links, and piloted a survey to find out more about how people use AUGB's social and other media and what they're interested in reading about.

There was a lively debate, with questions about how AUGB can influence events in Ukraine and continue to develop our communities in Great Britain. Zenko encouraged all 18 year olds to join AUGB, make their voice and their ideas heard, and help make a difference.
