New Ukrainian Ambassador in London, Volodymyr Khandogiy

Ambassador Ihor Kharchenko is set to leave his post at the Ukrainian Embassy in London later this month. He will be replaced by the current First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Volodymyr Khandogiy (Хандогій).

Mr Khandogiy's diplomatic career stretches back to 1976.  He has represented Ukraine at various levels and has served as Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, the Netherlands Belgium and Luxembourg (the latter as Head of Mission).  Since 2007 he has held the posts of Deputy Minister, First Deputy Minister and Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

He will take up his new position after the departure of Ambassador Kharchenko.
