TYMOSHENKO CALLS ON PROTESTERS TO FORCE YANUKOVYCH TO SIGN EU AGREEMENT

24.11.13

BBC Monitoring (Ukraine): Former Prime Minister Tymoshenko, who has been in prison since 2011 on widely-disputed corruption charges, said "Today we are facing a very clear task to force Viktor Yanukovych to reverse his humiliating decision and sign the association agreement with the EU on 29 November in Vilnius. We have to fight in order to achieve this, because this document means so much more than just an agreement... it is our roadmap to a normal life, our quantum leap from profound and uncontrollable dictatorship to the civilization of the future,"

Tymoshenko said in an address on her Fatherland party website. One of the conditions of the deal was the release of Ms Tymoshenko.
