Accompanied by the AUGB's CEO, the President of the World Congress of Ukrainians (WCU), Eugene Czolij, today met with representatives of the BBC's Ukrainian Service in London, Marek Bekerman, Oleksandr Hryb and Rostyslav Khotin before giving an interview to Bohdan Tsiupin about the WCU, its work and outlook on Ukrainian affairs.   Click here for the full half hour evening broadcast of the BBC's Ukrainians Service including Mr Czolij's interview.

Mr Czolij then moved on to hold fruitful talks at the Embassy of Ukraine in London with the Minister Councillor and Deputy Head of Mission, Mr Viacheslav Yatsiuk, and later he visited the AUGB's Shevchenko Library and Archive before meeting with representatives of London's Ukrainian community organisations at AUGB's Central Office in Linden Gardens.

Over the weekend Mr Czolij took part in the unveiling of a plaque in memory of the victims of the Holodomor held in Ashton on Saturday and an Independence Day concert held in Bolton on Sunday.

Tomorrow he will meet up with the MD of the Ukrainian Information Service, Rev. Mykola Matwijiwskyj, before returning home to Canada.
