TRAVELLING TO UKRAINE WITH AEROSVIT? CHECK BEFORE YOU SET OUT.

KYIV POST.  AeroSvit Airline has cancelled eight arriving flights and nine departing flights as of 0900 on January 8, according to the Boryspil International Airport.

The airline cancelled the following arriving flights: VV92 and VV96 from Donetsk, VV14 from Odesa, VV24 and VV28 from Simferopol, VV204 from Budapest, VV436 from Chisinau, and VV238 from Tel Aviv.

The airline also cancelled the following departing flights: VV91 and VV95 for Donetsk, VV11 for Odesa, VV21 and VV23 for Simferopol, VV435 for Chisinau, VV215 for Stockholm, VV203 for Budapest, and VV244 for Tel Aviv.

As reported, hundreds of Ukrainians in other countries could not return to Ukraine in time because of the cancellation and delays of AeroSvit's flights.

AeroSvit was created in 1994. It is based at Boryspil airport in Kyiv. It serves 80 international destinations in 34 countries. It provides services to passengers in the largest cities of Ukraine. Its fleet consists of 28 Boeing aircraft, including 20 medium-range Boeing 737s and eight long-haul Boeing 767s. In addition to that, it operates Airbus 320, Airbus 321, Embraer 145, Embraer 190, and ATR-72 aircraft.
